The Boise River

A Tributary of the Snake River & Extending just over 100 miles throughout Southwestern Idaho. The City of Boise encourages people to take time and enjoy all the activities the river provides as well as maintain its natural beauties. As such, recreational fun is not lost on the river.

Boise River Activities:

Fisherman are easily spotted up and down the river, with mainly rainbow trout in their satchels. Another favorite pastime of many residents in the area is to make use of rafts and inner tubes, enjoying a summer afternoon floating down the river. Swells of people put in at Barber Park for a 6 mile run down to the take-out point at Ann Morrison Park.

Parks and biking paths also run the length of the river.

Got Inner Tubes?
