We're only a day away from the Fourth of July in Idaho and across the country. It's a time when Americans, young and old, come together to celebrate our nation's independence with parades, barbeques, and awe-inspiring fireworks displays, a true testament to our patriotism.
Most Idahoans would guess the big cities like Boise, Nampa, or Meridian would have the largest firework show. However, the city claiming the largest fireworks display is actually Idaho Falls, Idaho. Every year, Americans from Idaho, Utah, and other states travel to Idaho Falls for the amazing Annual Melaleuca Freedom Celebration!
For a little shorter drive, you can head up to McCall! According to their website, McCall will have vendors in Legacy Park on July 4-7, host a Volleyball tournament on July 4, show a movie by the lake on July 5. Plus, a Fourth of July fireworks celebration display at Legacy Park, starting at dusk over Payette Lake!
Shorter yet, let’s take a look at what’s happening in the local Treasure Valley areas.
